Developing an E-Commerce Presence

When a business decides to implement an e-commerce component into their operation there are nine questions that should be answered when developing an e-commerce presence.

List and describe what the nine components that should be considered when developing any e-commerce presence, and why you think they are important.

The nine components are

1. WHAT’S THE IDEA? (THE VISIONING PROCESS)

2. WHERE’S THE MONEY: BUSINESS AND REVENUE MODEL

3. WHO AND WHERE IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE?

4. WHAT IS THE BALLPARK? CHARACTERIZE THE MARKETPLACE

5. WHERE’S THE CONTENT COMING FROM?

6. KNOW YOURSELF: CONDUCT A SWOT ANALYSIS

7. DEVELOP AN E-COMMERCE PRESENCE MAP

8. DEVELOP A TIMELINE: MILESTONES

9. HOW MUCH WILL THIS COST?

Use the following as the outline for your paper.  I suggest you cover each topic in a separate paragraph.
