Need help with my writing homework on Organizations in India. Write a 250 word paper answering; 1. Organizations in India are trying to retain and attract female workers within the nation by solving their problems that they face as a result of being Indian women. They are providing female workers with flexible working hours, longer leaves during time of pregnancy and providing them with training which helps them in restarting their work once the return from their leaves (Srivastava 1).

2. One of the reasons due to which organizations are trying to retain and attract female workers is that these organizations value the benefits that diversity of workforce has to offer to them. These organizations believe that having both male and female workers in their workforce can benefit their organizations in terms of productivity and decision making and because they have already invested too much in their female workers (Srivastava 1).

3. There are no ethical issues in organizations trying to attract and retain female workers because doing so is benefiting the entire society of India. When females in India work they are able to change the negative mindset of the Indians towards working females. Working Indian women are able to help their family members in bringing more food and a better lifestyle to their families.

4. These initiatives of retaining female workers have quite a positive impact on organization’s aim of managing diversity. When more and more female workers join the workforce along the male workers, the male workers will get a chance to realize the females are equally competent and this will help in removing the long held biased attitudes towards the female workforce.
