The culture of the disposers
The weight of the trash was about one and a half kilograms. The garbage belongs to two students who live together off campus. The trash is for one particular day.
The trash tells that the students can afford to daily eat out except breakfast. They are also young people. They do not value their health or dieting at this point. They have a garbage disposal unit nearby. This is because the trash is emptied everyday explaining the little weight of the trash. Their culture values time than preparation of the food which takes longer.
The garbage tells a lot about the students eating habits. They do not cook. They order for food. Mostly, they do not eat healthy. They are students. They trash also tells that they recycle some of their trash. The boxes of the beer and soda holders do not have the empty cans. This means they do not dispose them off into the trash. They also take more carbohydrates than vitamins. The only protein they take is from milk and the meat they eat from the foods. They make an effort to eat fruit.
The Specific Domestic Unit
The little trash also tells that they do not spend much time in the house. They are mostly outside the house. They are students who live near a garbage disposal unit. That explains the little weight of the trash. They do their studies in the house due to the school work remains.
What the garbage does not tell me
The garbage does not explain the reason why they eat out. I have to ask the disposers who admit they do not have time to cook and they prefer buying because it is less tedious.
The garbage does not tell me the general habits of the students. It only explains their eating habits and their schedules.
