Hello, I am looking for someone to write an article on Immigration Issue of the United States. It needs to be at least 500 words.
Immigration is a huge topic for debate in the United States today. Many people migrate to the United States in order to find better life for them and their families. The United Nations High Level Dialogue estimates that three percent of the world populations are immigrants (L. Isstt and Walter 1). The US provides perfect opportunities for them to work and live the life as they dream. However, some generalized opinion holds that it is affecting the native population and the country negatively. Contrast to their opinions, studies indicates that migrations are going to influence the growth of the US economy and population in massive way positively (Pawlick and Finley 2).
Population growth is an essential role to healthy economy. Statistically, immigrants and their families will account for sixty percent of the United States’ population after forty years (Pawlick and Finley 2). With this huge number the US could take an advantage of them by providing them and their children the amenities they need to live their social life normally. Giving proper and quality education to the migrant children will reflect positively in the future of the country. The educated migrant generation can create a diverse human resource environment locally, which will eventually address and eliminate the cultural issues like racism very effectively.
Similarly, they will follow the social norms and traditional values of the US better than the Native Americans for want of proving that they deserve to live with dignity in the country by ensuring their civil and political rights as citizens of the US. These points show that the increasing number of immigrants is going to affect many aspects in a positive way for the United States.
One of the biggest legal issues about migration is the absence of necessary documents held by the migrants in order to become an American citizen. These people use others’ documents and Social Security numbers to avoid troubles or deporting (Pawlick and Finley 3). The legal complications related falsification or forging of documents will lead to the arrest of the migrant, and in case of couples or individuals with children, this situation will grow riskier impacts. From my perspective, the government should make it easier for the immigrants to attain the official documents in order to address this issue appropriately.
The US should review the decision that they made about the punishments for malpractices and irregularities in the documentation of migration affairs, because even they are going to help the country their adverse impact on the socio-economic regions in the long run will outweigh their immediate benefits. Moreover, studies indicate that undocumented immigrants are helping in the growth of the overall revenue of the United States from taxes across the different states they work (Pawlick and Finley 2).
Some native people are against the immigration and they want it stopped by putting difficulties in the process of migration. Some of them think that the immigrants are using the public service facilities such as schools and hospitals they without paying the taxes as the Americans (Bowman and Cushman 2). However, in the near future the migrants will reward the country by educating their children and settling their families there. This imminent scenario will create awareness among the children about the value of labor and the struggles their parents face behind their achievement of desired degrees.
Nowadays, immigration is a great topic under discussion for the United States. The immigrants and their next generation are pivotal factors that can improve the socioeconomic conditions in the country by supplying the diverse human resource without the many cultural constraints. Hence it is necessary for the government to provide them the documents necessary for the US citizenship.
