Read instructions carefully.,Choose a criminal offender for whom you can find credible detailed information including the crime(s) committed and detailed information on the background of the offender including childhood, family life, education, medical conditions, etc (see #4 below).,1. Firstly, Begin with an introduction that makes a person want to continue reading your paper. Be sure to give a brief overview of what your paper is about.,2. Define what the science of criminology is and why it is important in evaluating crimes and criminal behavior. (use your textbook for this),3. Provide a Brief synopsis/overview of the crime(s) committed by the chosen offender, including who, what, where, when, and how.,4. Research and discuss the offender in detail, including his/her background: it is important to consider such issues as the offenders childhood, family life, rearing, medical conditions relevant to his/her behavior, education, social status, economic status, etc.(be sure to include anything that you believe may have contributed to the offenders criminality).,5. Choose a minimum of two (2) criminological theories from your textbook that you believe apply to why the offender committed the crime.,6.
