Content: There are specific sections and information that must be included in your proposal, though you are encouraged to include any other content that will help better sell your idea to the target audience. The proposal must be at least two-pages or 500-words long, not including the title page. The following content must be included:

  • Title page—include the title of your proposal, your name, and the date.
  • Proposal summary—one to three sentences describing the most important information contained in the proposal.

Problem Statement: Teaching technology to elderly people to stay healthy and have everything you need for their routine. Its hard enough for elderly people to stay healthy and have normal life with diseases that come along with age, such as diabetes and heart disease, now add the COVID-19 to the mix, and seniors are most vulnerable, they need to aware of these tech things to maintain social distancing and have enough goods to stay home and connected. Severity of the problem is very high as this could help saving some one life if practiced well.
My experience: The past two months has been very hard for everyone, with the corona virus people needed to make changes to their comfortable routine to care for there family and loved ones. One of my colleagues explained me the trips he is making to his grandparent’s house to deliver daily essential things.
Thought Process: The situation or fear of elderly people being exposed to virus made me to realize that there must be lot other elderly people out there that don’t want risk leaving there homes could use technology/internet as a medium to fulfill the needs. For ordering the grocery online, paying bills online, and getting their medication delivered to home.
Challenges: Making sure elderly have the access a computer and internet, this might require initial setting up of the hardware and software, might require a town hall to make they have everything they need to make it permanent solution.
