For this assignment, please have a look at the readings linked below and answer the questions about privilege. I really wish that we would be able to have an in class discussion on this topic, but alas, hopefully we can have a robust online discussion for this topic!

1. How is privilege defined in the articles? Is this a similar definition of privilege as your own?
2. Based off of your reading, how privileged do you think that YOU are in this country or society?
3. Have you ever been hurt for things about yourself that you cannot change? Explain if you feel comfortable. For example; ethnicity, religion, socio-economic status, gender, sexuality..
If not, then can you think of a time that your religion, race, gender, sexuality, or socioeconomic status has worked in your favor?
