Information Systems homework help

Information Systems homework help. Research Paper Assignment
Introduction:
The purpose of this assignment is to conduct research and delve more in depth about a topic from
information technology management of your choosing then demonstrate your knowledge on the topic or
area by providing a thorough and well-written research paper. This assignment serves to not only
promote but also provide students a chance to demonstrate their strong and quality critical thinking and
writing skills.
Assignment Structure and Instructions:
The requirement of this assignment is to choose a topic or area that pertains to information technology
management, research that topic using credible sources, assimilate the information, and then write a
research paper on that topic or area including a reference list.
Specifically, you will need to write a 1,500 word research paper using a minimum of 5 credible sources
cited in APA 6th edition style that covers the below main areas. Only the paper itself counts toward the
word count requirement. The cover page, header, footer, and reference list do not count toward the word
count requirement.
 Introduction stating the topic or area and giving a brief overview of your paper. This is an
opportunity to demonstrate and convey your interest in the topic by generating interest in the
reader. Write an engaging and interesting introduction that makes the reader want to read your
paper but keep this section of the paper to only a few sentences.
 Body that will address the following items:
o History and current state of the topic or area you are researching and writing in regards
to. Be sure to research and write about the origins of your topic or area, how it has
progressed and developed over time, and the current state including its applications,
innovations, or on-going research and development.
o The future of the area or topic of your paper. Research and write about planned future
development or research into the area. Are there any plans to advance this topic or area
in the future or has this advanced as far as it can for now?
o Your analysis of the topic or area that includes a critical look at the benefits and/or the
negatives of the topic or area in question and its current state. What do you think the
outlook is for your area or topic? Is there potential that you see that you did not read in
the research you found? This is your chance to really use your critical thinking and
analysis skills and write something from your perspective that provides the reader with
your insights into this area or topic instead of just summarizing research.
 Conclusion that wraps up the information on your paper in a concise and easy to understand way.
This should also only be a few sentences.
Separate from the paper itself, and not included in the total word count, you will need to provide a
reference list that includes the minimum 5 citations from credible sources done in APA 6th edition style.
