One of the best ways to explore potential careers is to conduct information interviews. This year, instead of tasking you with finding and interviewing someone, I have conducted 25 interviews for you! All you need to do is review at least two, and compose a brief reflection of no more than 5000 characters (that’s about 250 words or a page of typed text). What to include? Which conversations you viewed (they can be similar or different career areas); if you learned something new about the career(s); whether the experience changes your mind; if you’ll conduct more information interviews; if this confirms your tentative choice; or maybe whether you want to follow up with the people whose interviews you viewed through email or LinkedIn. This assignment is designed to help you look deeply and honestly about your preferences and desires related to the word of work. Take it seriously, and learn from it. Now, compose your response, (no more than 5000 characters), by selecting “Reply” and “Post”  Tip: compose a draft in Microsoft Word and perform a character count before attempting to “reply” here. You may save yourself some frustration when it comes to completing this assignment.
