Students are to complete two separate two to three page summaries of a current events article or news story on a religious subject. The selection can come from a publication, on line news source or article. These articles should cover a contemporary religious subject, such as a religious meeting, a doctrinal or moral issue or controversy. Once the student identifies the current event news story they are to write a two/three page paper summarizing the article and the issues outlined. Students are to select the article from any publication or news source and must provide a direct link to the article.
Format:
Each paper should be three pages double spaced 12-point print with one-inch margins.  You must submit a link in the paper to the article.
Conclusion:
After your summary you must include a conclusion section of at least a paragraph that connects the article to a topic in the readings, class discussions or course materials.
