BUS 650 Service Operations Assignment (50 points)
Sometimes critiquing other businesses is a great way to develop ideas to create/improve others.
Choose a service business (a business that primarily sells a service) and use it (e.g., online order
and delivery) or you could have visited it within the last couple of months – it MUST be
somewhat recent AND a service business. If you are unsure of a good example, ask! Do NOT
use a business that primarily sells goods, like a retail store or online business that sells clothes,
groceries, electronics, etc. (so not Amazon or a grocery store) – it will be difficult to identify the
assignment criteria.
Address the following questions in this assignment. Your assignment should be no more than
two pages, double spaced, 12 point font, one inch margins. Don’t forget to proof-read your
writing as quality will count for up to 5 points. The assignment is to be submitted through
Canvas, and we will run it through Turnitin (which checks each assignment against all other
