Scenario

You are currently the Chief Software Engineer in the Research and Development Department for a publicly traded company. A recent employee satisfaction survey shows that most employees are happy with the company. However, there were several questions posted about the use of technology in the company which management felt that needed to be addressed. To aid in an understanding of the company’s technology use, the Vice President of the company feels it’s a good idea to start by offering a presentation on various facets of computer science.

You have been tasked with presenting historical, current, and future topics in Computer Science. You are to have this presentation ready for a 15-minute time slot at the beginning of the next management meeting.

Instructions

Create a PowerPoint presentation that includes the following items:

• Current uses of Computer Science in at least three industries
• Emerging trends in Computer Science that will affect at least three industries
