You are required, as a group, to select an MNC (preferably a Saudi-based or a Gulf-based) and analyze your selected MNC’s financial health in general and its forex operations in particular where it utilizes various forms of hedging against its foreign transaction exposure as well as its economic and translation exposure, if any.
Required:
For your chosen MNC, you must undertake a comprehensive analysis of its financial outlook, before discussing the hedging tools it applies when it comes to its transaction exposure.
The required analysis must apply as much course material as possible, drawing from the relevant lecture material as well as other secondary sources of information relating to the selected MNC.
