  1. A goal is a purpose that is effort is put towards (Moshshenets, 2019).  An objective is something that efforts or actions are intended to accomplish a purpose or target (Moshshenets, 2019). An example of goal would be a person wanting to get good grades in class.  An objective is a student wanting to score at least a B on every test.  Objectives are more specific than goals are more generic. Both goals and objectives are purposes that efforts must be out towards to achieve. Objectives must be tangible and measurable while goals on the other hand do not have to be.
  2. I’m going to teach a lesson on main idea. This lesson will contain the learning capabilities of intellectual skills. cognitive strategies, and verbal information. An example of intellectual skills is students will be able to distinguish between a selection of reading’s topic form the main idea (Campbell, Craig, & Collier-Reed, 2020). The cognitive strategies example, the students will also understand the two concepts of topic and main idea are related but can make the distinction between them (Campbell, Craig, & Collier-Reed, 2020). Students will also be able to verbally articulate the how these concepts are different and how one helps a reader to determine the other (Campbell, Craig, & Collier-Reed, 2020).
