In this week’s lecture we discussed the many different kinds of bacteria. As nurses, you all will see bacteria in infection form and what they do to your patients. For this week’s discussion I want you to give an example of a bacterial infection and tell us a bit about it. Tell us the name of the microorganism that causes the infection, what some signs and symptoms are that a patient might have, and some treatment options. The more info, the better.
