The Community Health Center has emerged as an increasingly important setting and focus for a collaborative, interprofessional approach to delivering healthcare. In the scenario presented in the Weekly Introduction, the healthcare professionals at the Natural Life Community Health Center worked collaboratively to help Lydia manage her condition. Other community health centers work in different ways to help educate, prevent, detect, treat, and support people in the community and improve overall health.
