University of North Texas Status and Annual Household Income Discussion
I’m working on a social science question and need an explanation to help me learn.
The book reading Social Inequality: Patterns and Processes in Chapter on the Upper Class and the Power Elite identifies and examines economic bases for defining the upper class such as annual income and accumulated wealth. The optional book reading Top Heavy: Increasing Inequality of Wealth in America and What Can Be Done about It also defines the Upper Class especially in the United States in these terms. The two video lessons also do so in their own ways.
