1. Observe a special education environment in which there is at least one learner who has an IEP for emotional and behavioral disorders (EBD). Use the Observation and Conference Guide to guide your observation and conference with the cooperating teacher.
   Write a 275- to 350-word summary of your classroom observation and what you learned from the teacher conference to prepare you for planning and teaching the mini-lesson.
