God’s Story Paper Assignment Instructions
Overview
Previously you outlined the Gospel which is God’s story of salvation in an essay. You also discussed an app that could be a resource for sharing God’s story. Now your assignment is to write a paper about God’s story as it touches your life.
Instructions
This paper will cover how God’s story intersects with your story in a 3-part format:
I. Identifying a Sinful Nature: This material should answer the questions: What is sin? Who has sinned? What is the result of sin? and how can the problem of sin be fixed?
II. Accepting or Rejecting the Redemptive Work of Christ: If you claim to be a Christian explain how you came to understand your need for a Savior and how you accepted Him. If you do not claim to be a Christian, share what it is about God’s Story that you do not accept and why.
III. Living Spiritually: Compare your current spiritual state to your past and comment on the changes. Also, note what changes you are working toward and would like to see in the future.
