I’m working on a history discussion question and need guidance to help me learn.

“What contribution or characteristic (positive or negative) of ancient Roman civilization helps explain its significance in history?” An example is aqueducts. Your composition must be 200 to 300 words; do an online word count and include it at the end of the essay.  In addition, you must show critical thinking by supporting your thesis points with factual statements  from three different sources. The first to be used is the textbook, with the remainder coming from the databases found at the GTC libraries (start here for options: http://libguides.gvltec.edu/c.php?g=37418&p=239002 ). These are the minimum for sources-additional sources may be used.  If citing Internet sources, be sure to include the author, title, and date of website publication, and a clickable URL so I can access and verify the website’s reliability.  However, do not use or cite Wikipedia or any similar sources, which may come up first in your Internet search.
