File Sharing

Next week’s discussion topic is about file sharing of music on the internet. Composers and musicians have traditionally been able to earn income through sales of their recorded works and compositions. File sharing compensation laws and illegal file sharing sites have changed this in the internet age, making it more difficult for artists to be paid for music distributed over the internet, and artists and record companies are making efforts to work with lawmakers to look at current file sharing law. You will read the assigned articles and look into this topic by doing some research on your own as well. You will develop an informed opinion and post that opinion on the first day of the Discussion. On the second day you will read your group members post and reply to one of the posts with your reaction to their opinion (in a civil and open minded manner.)
