- If we could predict, with 100% certainty, that someone is going to commit a violent act in the future (and let’s say there’s nothing rehabilitatively) that we could do about it, should we wait for that person to commit that crime before punishing? Or should the gov’t step in and preemptively incarcerate that person? Why or why not?
