Discuss the effect of conducting the interview when the individual has other plans, such as work, chores, or a social activity. Include in your discussion the individual’s need to keep to a schedule due to a disability, such as autism, obsessive-compulsive disorder, or intellectual disabilities. Discuss how a person with a disability may experience a severe negative reaction when not doing what he or she “is supposed to be doing.”
