The social issue of concern is low and disproportionate graduation rates. Each of the group has a different theory to focus on:
Group 4: Power, Change, and Politics-GENDER
My group is assigned to take the perspective of how “Power, Change and Politics” contribute to the difference in graduation rates. The source that we have to use, the article from Child Trends, focuses on race, gender, and immigrant status contributing to varying graduation rates. The population to focus on is GENDER, then explain how it affects rates & a policy recommendation for improvement
