Instructions: To complete this assignment, expand and deepen what you have researched and learned in the discussion boards to address the following:
Part 1: Milestone Timeline
- Select one major milestone and/or event related to educational technology from each of the following decades:
- 1920’s, 1950’s, 1970’s, 1980’s, 1990’s, 2000’s, 2010’s (you should have a total of seven events)
- Create a timeline that presents your seven events. This timeline can be created using any tool of your choice. Possible options include:
Part 2: Assessment of Milestones
- For each of the seven milestones in your timeline discuss the following in a Word document:
- State the benefits that have come from that milestone as well as the challenges that have been associated with it.
- Explain how the milestone has influenced education.
- Explain how the milestone has played a role in the evolution of educational technology.
- Explain how the milestone has influenced educational theory or practice.
