UCLA Role of Technology in Teaching English as Second Language Outline
Instructions
In this dropbox, please upload the first draft of your term paper. Remember, this is meant to be a detailed outline, and should include the following:
- a thesis statement (or the best guess at it right now);
- the sections that you think you will have; and,
- a list of references that you know you will use in addition to some that you might use.
In each section, you must put your general ideas for those sections–what you think you will say in these sections. You should also include research questions and general questions in each section–what you are wondering about, any stumbling blocks that you’re having, etc.
Essentially, this is to help you write this paper in a more logical and planned manner. This is not a paper to be written at the last minute. You need to use the entire semester to think about your topic, research it, ponder it, and write it out. This is merely the first step.
Evaluation
This assignment is not counted in your grade, but it is a ‘required’ element–meaning that you need to complete this step to continue working on your project.
