Project Description:
Students will complete a multimedia research projected based on any topic of their choosing related to African American history before 1865. This is your opportunity to choose to learn more about a person, event, or theme in African American history that best fits your interests. After choosing your topic, you must use at least three scholarly secondary sources (no .com websites unless pre-approved by the instructor) as the basis of your project.
After picking a topic and conducting research, students will complete a multimedia project. While you may pick whatever format of your choice for this project, it must contain at least two forms of media, including, but not limited to, images, video, text, audio, sound/visual effects. The purpose of this project is to create a dynamic presentation that conveys your research to a general audience. Projects must be submitted on Blackboard by midnight, November 23. Late work will be accepted with a 10% point deduction per day late.
