You don’t need to (indeed often cannot) include every point a reading makes. For this assignment, treat the annotation as a handy ‘note to self’ about the reading. Once you’ve given a summary of the reading, go deeper and include: points that surprised you, or an important thing you learned (a-ha moments!), or amazing quotes, or questions you have, or points you disagree with (be sure to say why), or connections to other readings/topics in class discussion.
